Les baer has to be #1 and ties for top spot with Nighthawk customs .

Ive seen some nice stuff come out of wilson combat , ed brown , colt etc however i would have to be crazy 1911 fan to drop 3000+ on a handgun .
 
Definitely would agree that Para is at the bottom of the 3 you have listed. I had one and experienced too many jams...not very pleasant to say the least.

I went with the middle on not much more for allot more features... the top is really nice though..
 
Sig sauer 1911's. I have had all kinds of 1911 but none stood up the best. That is why I sold all of my handguns to get nothing but Sigs now.

Love my lil Sig compact 1911 C3.
 
I picked up my Sig Sauer 1911 Tactical Operations last night. Wow, what an amazing pistol. It is gorgeous and so well put together. Certainly worth every penny!
 
I wanted on of those SIG 1911 Tac Ops.
But I did not want to wait..............

Got this for now.... I will get the SIG 1911 for New Years :)

It was worth the wait. Absolutely worth the wait. It's... amazing, and I haven't even shot it yet. It seriously grips your hands, it's quite amazing how much it holds onto you with the front checkering, the rear checkering and those ergo xt grips.

Fit and finish is flawless... It oozes Sig Sauer quality, the appearance is unique while still clearly a 1911. Pictures will be online eventually... I'm too busy fondling it, to take pictures of it.
