What is everyone paying for Federal Bulk Ammo?

What is everyone paying for this ? I just about had an accident in my pants when i seen this ammo for 28.95 at Walmart in Lethbridge. I phoned around to other Walmarts and that is standard price
Fortunatly Wholesale had the same for 19.99

One of our local gunshops, Pullen's, has it on for $24.95 for the 525 bulk pack. They also have 500 rd bricks of American Eagle 40 gr .22lr rn lead hi-vel for the same price.

Cabella's in the peg had it on for 19.99ish a few weeks ago, when I bought my first box in the spring it was $25 I think. My buddy scored some boxes last summer for $15 a box at the local home hardware.

I don't know what amazes me more, the price, or the fact that WSS Lethbridge actually had something in stock Yes they are 30.00 at CT here in medicine hat, I saw one lonely box of 555's at walmart tuesday night for 20.00 but I was in too big a rush to buy black ops to spend the 1/2 hour tracking someone down with a key to the ammo cabinet.

Everyone was told that 22 ammo was going to go up in a big way by the end of the year but everytime someone thats in the know said that, all we got back was , this shop still has it for cheap and so does this shop.
I feel sorry for those that did not stock up.

few years ago it was on sale at co-op for 10.75 a box, we bought 4 cases (21000rds), and are now down to our last 2 boxes lol

The fact is BADboy that according to this tread many places are selling currently for around $20 which seems like a decline in price for the first time in 3 or 4 years.

well talking directily to the importers and seeign the price sheets, i can tel lyou the price has gone way way up. and Still goes up each time i see the price sheet.
If some stores with slow moving stock still have low prices then thats only beface its old stock.

BBB, I appreciate your insight but are you trying hard to say that the price is going way up from $25 to a new stupid amount for next year?

Are you trying hard to warn us that for next year the price will be $40?

I still don't know what time period you are referring to but it sort of sounds like you warned people last year and now you are doing it again....

Perhaps you can be a bit more specific because at this point most of expect things to just keep going up because it's been doing that steadily for the last few years....
