Wonderful, wonderful wood! The rest is nothing to sneeze at either
Thanks for the kind words everyone. Now I am just flip flopping as to what scope to put on it.
I have been advised to go with a scope with a gloss finish to complement the high polished barrel. I see Clay has one in stock, a Leupold VI 4-12X40.

You have to be kidding,a VXI on a high end rifle like that.If your budget was used up on the rifle,at least talk to Clay about getting one of the 3-9x42 CL Kahles that he has coming in shortly. He still may have one that isn't already spoken for.For less money that a VX3,they are a great scope, offering higher end glass and coatings, and they do have side mounted parallax adjustment.I have four of them now, with two more on the way to mount on my own Cooper rimfires.
I went to Leupolds custom shop and wanted a Gloss V3 4.5-14X40 but they don't ship to personal residences in Canada and a gloss in that model needs to be custom shopped. So basically its a no go.
You know wood like that should be on a 450 nitro LOL
Very nice now I know my bank is making too much of my fees![]()
look forward to seeing your pics. When will you have it?
