Anyone have any experience or input on the new MK AR scopes from Leupold?
How are they?
Who has them?
Whats a good Canadian market price point?
I am looking for a 4x12 mill dot.

thanks,
jon

I have one i put it on my 300WSM, it is a very good scope it's just like the MK 4 but cheaper. I picked mine up at P&D here in Alberta for around 800 for the 3x9x40mm but i have seen them cheaper after the fact. It took me a bit to figure out the dialing system as it's was not like the other scopes i used. the windage and elevation dials were switched.

Not sure if it would be cheaper to ordered it from a province that doesn't have that great HST

i love this scope got it dead on at 300yds

Hope this answers some of your questions

If the money is taken in a province with no HST (like Alberta), then HST does not have to be charged.

It's where the point of sale occurs is what is important.

Finance Minister of Alberta disagrees with you.

If that's the case great, but everyone (like Alberta Tactical) I spoke to when I was shopping around for AR parts told me that I had to pay the HST because I lived in Ontario.

Edit: Just spoke to the Ontario Ministry of Revenue and they stated that the local applicable taxes are in effect no matter where you order from. So if you order from Alberta but live in Ontario than you do have to pay Ontario taxes.

That's terrible. I vowed to shop out of province as much as possible thanks to HST.
