My dad with his Mulie that I scouted out late yesterday. Made out our plan of attack over a cold beer last night. My girlfriend, dad and myself set out this morning and had him tagged before 10. Plus Lorna got one of her does.

Nice buck! Congrats!

I didn't get out this weekend but next weekend will see us in the field. I've got an either ### Whitetail tag, an antlerless whitetail, and two antlerless mulie tags I can fill, hunting gods willing.

I was talking to a friend of mine that I hunt with, and his brother was scouting out an area we've seen some nice WT bucks in the past. Wouldn't you know it...he saw no deer, but 4 or 5 moose on the property.

I like your hoist. Looks like two arms, a high-lift jack crossstay and an electric winch. How are the arms attached to the bumper?

they slide on to a bale spike unit for moving round bales. they pivot on a frame that mounts into the hitch reciever and goes to the front of the box where the 8000 lb winch is mounted to. Dad built the unit for feeding cattle and just added on for a game hoist

You just bring the moose, deer and smoker down to my 250 lb tank, we won`t need all that hose and me and the girls will let you know when the meat is ready to eat. Well maybe i`ll let Frank try it so you don`t get indigestion. We can`t have the guide getting sick.

Way to go! Good luck with the white tails too as I'm in hot pursuit myself.

I might get drawn for moose next year because I'm in the Super A pool now. I told a buddy I was nervous about going after moose because it will be my first time. I then asked, "What do you do once you knock it down?"

His reply, "Find a farmer with a bucket on his tractor."
