Guess?
Hey Guys.

I just picked up a side mount from Interammo for a POSP mount, I am hesitant to mount it myself. I do own a drill press, but I really don't want to F-up my 858. Should I get a Smith do do it?

i got a smith to do it.
Had the same ideas, s**t i don't want to f-it up.
Smiths know what they are doing and how to place something where it will not interfere with the internals of a gun. cost me 75 bucks to get it mounted and i waited a day and i have been really happy.

A gunsmith? pffff, only girlymen go to the smith :D

I was also worried about misaligning the rail, so I drilled the left hole first, mounted the scope with only one screw in the rail, and hit the range. It turns out that my shots were only on paper when the scope was tilted upwards, so I left the rail semi-crooked and drilled the second hole for the second screw. Easy as pie, just take your time.

Have a look, its very easy, just take your time you cannot go wrong:)

The middle hole has to be centered over axis pin. All procedure is quite simple...
