I have been searching for this and wasn`t too sure, but if a CZ 858-2 tactical is chromed lined does it become restricted? I could of sworn I read somewhere that you could have one and it be non restricted. The corrosive surplus is tough on the rifle (even though i clean and clean it again). Sorry if this is already posted, any info would be great thanks.

IIRC the chrome lined barrels were only on the shorter barreled version, making it restricted. It wasn't because the barrel was chromed, but the barrel length that determined this. The longer, unrestricted 858's were a special order so that they weren't restricted, but chrome lining wasn't offered.
There are non restricted CZ rifles but they are not named CZ858-2 Tactical and they are not made by the same factory. They have another name. I can't remember the exact name. Someone will chime in with it. If you want to protect your rifle from the corrosive ammo you can post a WTB ad in the EE when you find the name or send your non chrome rifle to Rauch Tactical. He will coat it in a resistant finish that is excellent.
