IF you were able to research the first 2 rifles to get a value, why could you not have also got a rough value for the 10/22 mag?
Any drooling fool with Google could have found that out?? (I did it and got 4 values on the first page?)
Is your underlying motive really just to dangle a pre-sale carrot and see what the market will pay?

I have owned a couple and I think you would be hard pressed to get $500 for it . They are not that hard to find and ammo is not cheap as well. They really are not that accurate so some aftermarket parts come in , but then it starts to cost way more then you can get out of it ............You can double the price on that 10/22 Magnum. You could get $800 on the EE for it easy. Sorry to anyone who wanted to steal this gun..... Pay a fair price for it.
Well I'll take your next one for $500, I don't care what shape it's in. I'd put money on it that that gun would sell for $800. And for a gun that's not that hard to find, why have I only seen a couple on the EE? I had a WTB add running for a year and only had 2 guys contact me. I've watched 2 in the last 2 years sell within a day of being posted and both had $750+ asking prices. One of those was pretty rough as well. If this one is like new, it WILL bring that kind of money. A plain 10/22 seems to sell for more used on the EE then you could can buy a new one for, so I don't think that $800 is unreasonable.

Selling something for less than it's worth doesn't mean your setting market value on an item, it means someone else got a deal. That gun is worth whatever someone is willing to pay, but you should know that as you've sold two.
Here's a thought, google 10/22 magnum for sale and have a look at what they sell for in the states. And before you say "But this is Canada", they are an even rarer bird up here. Google Canada will only give you american stuff. I'd bet on our EE that gun would sell for close to what I said. When your the only guy that has one for sale and someone wants one bad enough, then you can set "Fair" market value wherever you want. Why not just buy a Magnum research for the same price, same internals with better barrels. $800 in my mind is over priced.

The one that I sold last year was up for about 3 months befor it sold , your right if some one will pay $800 then so be it , but that person would be very few and far between . So next one I see I will buy it and sell it to you at a great price of $790 , thats $10 less then what they are worth and I will make a cool $340. The first one I had got sent back because the barrel was "canted" to one side , So I guess you could say I have had 3
I am not going to argue with you about the ones that I have owned and sold have no bearing here ,nor do the 20+ 10/22lr's built and sold , you are right ,you sound like an expert on 10/22 magnums and there prices.
you do know you can convert a regular 10/22LR into a 22mag as well right ? ,Done that too and it shot better than the factory 1022magnum . I did a modifyed "cheif dave" method off RFC about 7-8 years back .

Oh and for the record I believe I said I'd buy everyone you could find me for $500, not $800. I wouldn't pay that, but I would have bought yours for an even $500 and you could have made $10 more. You should have answered my WTB ad or one of the other 4 that are on the EE right now. If there's anything else you'd like an opinion on feel free to PM me as this thread is getting way off topic. A guy asks for opinions, and every one's entitled to theirs.

How is it you couldn't move yours when there's that many WTB ads? Maybe $490 was too high.
The only one for sale right now the guy's asking $1300. That might be reaching a bit.

did you notch the receiver and redrill the trigger group or did you notch the trigger group? nice job either way though
