Hi CGN,

I just want to know what are other people are doing to eliminate the wobble on their Nork AR upper&lower recievers.
Can I just change both take down pins to fix this problem?
Pls. let me know...thanx

i duno but there's a little rubber shim we use in the CF that tightens up the receivers but it makes it a pain in the ass to pull out the rear take down pin. it goes right in the lower receiver above the pistol grip pretty much. I don't know what it is or where to get them or even if it works lol

Mine fit very tight, you could always grab an accuwedge for a few dollars that fits in between tour upper and lower. I'm just heading out so someone could shed a little more light on it for you.

Large majority of AR's all have a degree of wobble not just Norinco's, most of people just ignore it since both sights are on the same upper it does not effect the accuracy at all.

However if it really bothers you a Accuwedge will solve the problem, changing the pins might help, but unless you know the exact dimensions of the pin hole and the pins down to the thousandth, You will be buying a large number of them and try them one by one.

I just put a foam ear plug under the rear take down pin. Closing the upper compresses it and takes out most of the wobble. Still easy to move the pin for take down. Not sure if the foam will "wear" after a while and stop exerting pressure. Anyway, even cheaper than an accuwedge
