Glock Finish

Today I was cleaning my Glock's and installing a new front site when I noticed that my new Glock 27 slide is not the same colour as my 17 and 23's slide. My new Glock 27 is more grey than black, its also more of a matted texture than the smooth texture on the black slides.
Has anyone seen this or have some input on this topic?

I believe the more black one is older stock just like mine, according to the glocktalk, all newer one come with nicer matted finish, I won't surprise finish will be different from lot to lot as they were made in the state now, quality is no longer as good as before.

That is the reason that I FAR prefer the older Gen 2 and 3 Glocks...the dull, businesslike look the older ones have looks WAY nicer to me than the shiny new ones.
 
My gen 2 and 2.5 had a different finish(I think its called Teniffer) than my G19C, G19 and, G17(all gen 3.)


They all have Tenifer, its underneath the surface coating. What has changed over the last few years is the surface coating which has changed to the glossier finish.
