That's the minimum barrel length in the US without resorting to tax stamps.

A very interesting design. From all accounts an excellent gun. But 5 grand....hmmm supply and demand has made pricing almost as stupid as a HK G36C.

I still want one. If it is going to have a 16" barrel then it might as well have a 18.5" for non restricted goodness. I wonder what kind of velocities and energy that might push the .45 to? They also make it in .40 cal I see.

Sounds like if someone spent the extra money and had a shorter(6" maybe lothar?) barrel fitted it would be a pretty badass weapon.
I mean it's already restricted and costs an arm and a leg might as well make it a shorter.
