age of browning bar

howdy ive got a browning bar and i was wondering if there is a site or something where i can check the age. the serial # is simular to this. im not posting the real one 4 security reasons...11111m11.

ive tried nothing close. closest thing willl be something like 11m 11111

Should be the 2 numbers after the m is last two digits of year made . ###XXm70 would be 1970.

You have probably figured it out by now. What you found is the earliest numbering system and yours is from the second. See

thanks man ya i found it on another forum and its better then i thought... turned out to be from 1977
