Yup. Shooting a tame bear and knowing it is just plain lame. Look at it any way you like and rationalize away if you wish. It just makes hunters look like cold hearted pr*cks.

The bear was shot legally by a hunter. No matter what you shoose to call it it was hunted. I regularly hunt from a treestand and shoot poor unsuspecting animals as they pass by with no knowledge of my existance.

BTW. My next door neighbours feed the deer in their yard and I took 2 of them last year (8 point at 200 lbs with muzzleloader and a doe fawn with the bow). They were shot 400 yards from the house over corn same as they get fed next door. Don't be so sure we're all kids hiding in Mom's basement.

i didnt say you were a child hiding in your paremnts' basement.

i implied that you are an adult that has respect for other people and dont act the way that you are speaking of.

99% of the people on here hide behind a monitor and throw insults if you can dish it out you better be ready for it to come right back at you and lots of these fellas are old and wise and judging by saying "weak sauce" you cant be that old.

i am 32 years old and i do not hide behind a monitor.

i talk to people online as if they were standing on front of me.

I have to agree with DisMantler on this one.

Oh not because he's right, but because I'm never wrong and I wanted to see how it felt. I'll now return to my regular programming of always being right.

You do not have to be correct to have an opinion. you simply need a pulse and a keyboard.

Bear Pie..........MMMMMMMMMMMM!

your post shows that you dont have to have any substance to have an opinion

Ahem, someone is talking big online... look in the mirror.

Well said. Some of us are even old enough to shave.

please explain to me how me saying "you probably go out of your way to not piss off your neighbors like most normal human beings" is me talking tough?

How do we know this hunter knew this was a tame bear? We don't, so why are people targeting him in comments or did I miss something? I might have.

because i posted a direct quote (with a link to the original article) from the hunter saying so.

you should try to follow along a little more carefully.

How much did he know about the bear?Had he seen it before, but not had the opportunity to kill it, or did he actually know that the bear was someone's pet? I used to hunt individual bucks, that I had seen for a few years, but I can't guarantee that nobody was feeding them.Come to think of it,I never did see some of them during an open season.:D

"We've been after this bear for a few years," Mr. Price said"

"Despite the bear's neighborhood notoriety, Mr. Schweitzer said Mr. Price's kill holds up."
