SKS Removable magazine

Just did a quick search but nothing popped up...
I had thought I had heard of an attachment for the sks that will make it accept removable magazines. Is this true or am I just dreaming?
Would be nice to have a couple loaded mags that I could just quickly slip into the rifle...Especially for hunting, makes loading and unloading nice and easy.

Why stay away from metal? I'v never had an issue with any of mine

I've had no issues with the metal magazines either. If you look in the EE parts and bits you may find some.

Metal SKS Duckbill Mags= Broken spot welds, bent feed lips ect ect after low round count compaired to Tapco, over 4000 rounds no concerns

Ya but Paden Full you will still have to mod the mags to get that to work no?
Also I wonder if so one could make an SkS to Ak mag conversion kit. Does anyone know if there is 1 out there like that & I don't mean the SkS model D.

I just ordered a bunch of stuff from him and everything arrived including a 20/5 rnd Tapco mag which fits great on the Tapco stock
if you want to use the detachable mag on the original wood stock you will have to do some minor whittling

he has all kinds of detach mags (metal and composite) for the SKS including the U.S. made SKS Zytel Detachable 5 RD Magazine which I haven't tried.
be aware though that not all are pinned to 5
