Who stocks Colt's M1911? They can be found here ans there but no one carries large selection of this manufacturer, at least I havn't seen anyone who stocks them. Kimber, Springfield even STI seem to be more present on Canadian market. So who stocks large selection of these guns?

Thanx.

M1911 stands for the military version, they stop making those a long time ago :)

Some commercial Colts are available threw Arms East/Epps, as well a few other suppliers, but I haven't seen many places that stock a lot of them, usually only a couple types and they are significantly more than in the U.S.

You may considering looking into importing them, Prophet River offers that service.

Wolverine Supplies, CRAFM,and The Shooting Edge listed above, have Colts in stock. They are as rare as hen's teeth in Canada.

disappointing

Thanx for the info though, now the question becomes which one is better: kimber, springfield or STI? Les Bear and willsoncombat is out of my price ranage.

Thanx.

STI gets my vote. They make excellent quality pistols that are reasonably priced and very accurate out of the box. Their customer/warranty service is second to none. I own three STI pistols and have never had a single problem with any of them.

does Milarm always charge crazy shipping?

Milarm co
Was $625 back in sept when I picked one up

Thanks... just confirmed that 'ballpark' that's what they'l cost.

i was pretty interested until they said $65 for shipping to Ontario.

yeah, i know, they can charge whatever they want... but that's a bit steep when it cost me about $20 for a parcel from BC... $30 for a rifle from P&Di n Alberta... heck, it only cost me $10 for a handgun from Manitoba!
