New Browning 1911 22

It's probably been mentioned here already but in case it hasn't Browning has announced it will be building a 1911 22 in honour of it's 100th anniversary. It will be 85% life size 1911 A1 with a 4 1/4" barrel (yea). Hopefully we'll be able to get some up here and they will be affordable. TC

I would really like to see one of these with nice wood grips and a more original looking finish:

I heard that the new Browning dedicated 1911 .22lr pistol has 12 round magazines. Something that will have to be dealt with for imporation into Canada.

I'm sure we will eventually see them up here, though. As well as the fairly newly announced Colt dedicated 1911 .22lr pistols. Given the names "Browning" & "Colt" and thoughts of "affordable"....... I doubt you will see pricing like the current GSG 1911 .22lr's though.
