Glock 21 for small hands

It is way, way bigger. 1911s have very slim grips. The G21 is a ####ing 2x4. I shoot a G20 (same frame) and I have big hands, and it's still big.
x2. Then again there is now the short frame Glock 20/21. It might be what you are looking for. It's on my list...

Look for the SF(small frame) model! Still quite large but more like the G17.
Yeah, the short frame is definitely smaller.
I'm receiving a G21 SF for CDP in IDPA soon. I'll let you know how it feels and shoots.....
No, short frame. It's shorter front to back. It's not slimmer side to side.
The only time Glock has used the word "slim" is for that single-stack .45 they put out.
WP let me know what you think of the SF, not just the grip but the whole machine.

Yeah I have to say I'm surprised you're shooting .45. I thought you were a dyed-in-the-wool G17/G34 guy, actually.
I have had my eyes on a similar blaster recently myself...I know Vickers rips on the non-9mm Glocks but the only problem my G20 has ever had was me giving it ####ed up drunk ammo on day 2 of AFHF. Of course I don't have anything like the chops to argue with that guy, but from a normal user perspective the big glock has done me pretty well.
But the SF designation has been catching my eye recently...

A lot of people with more smarts and experience than me pass on anything but the 9mm Glocks, and I normally do to. I'm even parking the G34. My Gen4 17 is awesome, I'm just gonna use that. And if I had to grab one gun and go, it would be the 17, not the 21.....
Like is said, it's mostly for CDP in IDPA. The Glock was a good trade with a buddy at work, and with the armorers course and access to parts, I can fix anything that goes wrong, unlike a 1911. While that would have been nice, it made more sense to go with the G21.

I have a SF G21 and its a very reliable and accurate piece. Now if only it came in a RTF version.

I've got a G37 in 45GAP that I don't use, and it's in the EE.
The G37 is the full-size (proportionately the same about as a G17), you monkey, I'm talking about the compact one.
