Glock distributor in Canada?

Doesn't seem hardly fair, are they using some form of better money?

yes, our filthy cop money is like 2 bucks to the loonie. ha ha.

BUT SERIOUSLY.... >: |

They offer reduced prices to Police, Military, Fire and EMS (mattress backs and evidence wreckers) and GSSF. Retired or active. If your not sure, call or email and they will clarify for you. I bought my Glock 17 3.5 Gen for $500 brand new from factory. They also offer almost any kind of Glock you can think of from RTF models, G21 SF, OD models, canadian legal compacts and sub compacts. Gen 4, 3.5, and even old beater ones if your into that kind od thing. Parts, accesories, all sorts of goodies. Hell you can get a G18C if you have the papers. They also offer retired service pistols and carbines, such as Beretta 96s, Bushmasters and Gen 2 glocks.

I honestly have nothing bad to say about these guys and will hopefully be picking up a G34 soon.

It's seems biased defending a company that offers discounts to Emergency services, as I am a Emergency resonder. It is greatly appreciated and I really enjoy the benefits from people who do such as Oakley Canada and CPgear. It really helps when it does, and I am sure I am speaking on behalf of most emergency services.

Police Ordnance

Anyone can get the discounted GLOCK prices by just filling out the GSSF application and sending it to Policeordinance.com. They will send your GSSF application in to GLOCK and give you the police discount immediately. You save about $200 or more over retail on each gun.

You can buy a new discounted GLOCK each calendar year.

I bought a new GLOCK 22 Gen 4 with Trijicon night sights a month ago. I will be buying the GLOCK 17 GEN4 from them in January.

Do you raise the same objection to places that give mil discounts?

Here we go. I do not raise any objection for a discount to Mil or LEO if they are current members and need the items for their job or for practicing for their job. I do object to giving a discount on something that has nothing to do with the job or will never be used on the job, or will never be used in direct preparation for the job (I know mighty subjective) and the like. I feel that most MIL and LEO feel a portion of their job is to treat all people fairly, I would think that they would want to be treated fairly like the rest of us.

Having said that, if there is something that is a comemorative type item or firearm, then yes the appropriate people should get a discount if available for that type of item; that item should also be available to a regular joe, without the discount who also wants to pay respect to any MIL or LEO and to comemorate the same thing.

Glock calls it the Homeland Security discount.

Glock suggests that the people in those occupations are part of a group who work in "public service" - for all of us - at special jobs (that most of us would prefer not to do) in situations which are sometimes critical (and which most of us would prefer never to be in). Glock presupposes that the safe and efficient completion of these special jobs is of great interest to the general public, and that the general public benefits because these special jobs get done. Glock further supposes that terrorists and criminals pose a danger to the safety of these workers - and their ability to do their jobs - and, by extension, endanger society at large. The jobs are essential, ergo...the workers are essential.

This program is intended to better-equip these essential workers. The worker who is better prepared to resist attack and who is better prepared to survive an attack - in the event of such an attack - is also better prepared to continue to do his job with the least disruption to society. Cui bono? Everybody!

The Glock Homeland Security program applies to all of the above-noted occupations and groups, but, make no mistake, it is intended to benefit all of society. And that includes you.
