What do ya do with youe empty surplus ammo crates?

I use mine to store spent casings from other calibres, as well as quality, commerical 7.62x39 casings. Another one is used to store spare magazines and other parts for my other rifles. They are fairly robust and look pretty cool. :)

One has an assortment of fired brass the other holds factory ammo and powder

I tried that already. You'd be surprised what the shipping costs are on an empty crate, and how much people want to be paid to put 'em in the mail or let you pick them up.

They get tossed in the fire, until someone expresses interest in them. Then the value goes up. :)

They sit on a shelf in my workshop and take up space. For some reason I just can't part with them...it's like they remind me of all the rounds I have fired and the good memories that go along with them...:D
