PARA problem FIXED ( UPDATE 19th MAY !!! )

I have a TLR-1 on it, and had the same fit issues, not just with rail edges, but also the width of the slots on the rail.

Do you have the .45 ? How is your finish holding up ?

My safety is now rubbing on my slide after 400 rounds... :puke:

Yeah, I have the .45. The finish started wearing the day I got it. Could you post pics of your safety issues? Just curious as to what I should be looking for.

Also, watch your PM box.

I cant wait to shoot a couple hundred more rounds...

Then I will have nice shinny metal...

Meh... If it took 13 months to get my Pistol... I dont want to send it back ...

I will live with it for now... It just sucks that my bedside safe has a 1935 TT-33 in it instead of this .45

Imagine if someone breaks in and all he hears is 9 rounds ( cauz 10 dont fit ) of .45 hitting the ground when I try to load the Para mag and it blows out...

Yeah, I here ya'. Do you have the Double stack .45? I didn't think they were offering this for the 1-08- not that it makes a heap of difference for this buy now. God bless the folks at Tetragon, I think they've been the most professional and patient ones through this all. I may even send a Christmas card to them ;)

Well after a few emails with Double Tap sports I got these puppies

I must say D.T.S are great to deal with. And for all of you with Para mags. Do not hesitate to buy these.

And guess what! I Found another problem with the gun when I took it apart to clean it... The barrel bushing is missing a chunk of metal out of it... Looks like a casting defect since they painted over it... and Para still hasn't acknowledge my emails asking for replacement bases, They did finally send me a RMA request and telling me to ship everything back to them directly... I was under the impression I can't ship a gun to the US myself... But like everything else up there they probably didn't even check were the request was made from...

I guess you are glad you found those here. Wow. They screwed up a bushing? That's probably the most critical part. Don't ship a gun. That's the standard (USA) line.
