I'm reloading shot shells, but it's hard to get lead shot. Who is selling it and how much?

Call Italian Sporting Goods. I've seen little sacs of steel shot in their store. They may carry lead as well.

Not every one has a tower to pour lead from. How would you without one?and grade it?

Google littleton shot makers, you don't have to have a shot tower for the small shot sizes with one of them.

It's an interesting device. But, I can get shot at about $2/lb, so any savings would be eaten up in the ww smelting / shotmaking process.

At $2 a pound for shot you are paying $50 for a 25 lb bag. Way to much.

I wish that was the case, but at least around here that seems to be the going rate.

As such making shot pays very well, I figure about 25 cents a pound for wheel weights and then some time. You have to need quite a bit of shot to justify it, but it pays pretty good. If you only use a bag or two a year, your probably better off to buy it.
