Ordered a Walther P22 at the end of Feb this year at Proline Shooters here in Calgary. What would be a resonable timeframe to wait for possession? I figured I would have had it before the summer to say the least or am I impatient?

well considering it's an easy to find pistol they should have had it for you within a week or two of you ordering it

have you been in contact with them to make sure your order did not get lost?

Ya I've popped there a few times, bought some ammo but always told it's on order. Only put $100 down on it and have run into two at other gun stores so..........what would be the holdup. It cant be coming from Germany by canoe.

You may just be the most patient man on CGN, most people after 5-6 business days get all :runaway:, considering you are in Calgary I haven't heard of any delays from around then, it's mostly us Ontarions that have been graced with having to wait a while, at this point being 9 months, check to see if you were even charged for the darn thing (if you paid via credit card) and just give them a call...

Ordered a Ruger Super Redhawk from P&D nearly 7 months ago. I popped in a month ago to see what was up and they acted like I was a retard for wondering what was taking so long. I guess even the best shops have their moments of piss poor customer service.

Shotters choice? Never heard.

Its south of Calgary, Roger is the owner he is a member on the site, but not a sponsor (eg not hot linked).
lots of great guns in his inventory and if it is not in the inventory he will bring it in for you, i have gotten a bunch of guns special ordered and he is always right about the time and always has good prices.

9 months for a .22?? You must have the patience of Job!!!

I'd be on the horn to them weekly asking WTF??

At least they should give you an ETA for your pistol.

That said, I've had great service from Proline. Methinks your order got lost somehow.

Your order must have got lost. Take your money elsewhere. Proline can be hit or miss. I've had great service, I've also had guys who wouldn't give me the time of day.

This business blows in general, I've been waiting on an ammo shipment since June lol. I run a retail store and if I told one of my customers that something is going to take 6 months they would laugh in my face lol.

I waited more than 6 months for my S&W 617 through a local dealer.

They originally told me maximum 6 weeks when I placed my order and gave a deposit.

And yeah, they always acted like I was being completely unreasonable when I asked where it was (month after month).

Sorry to hear about your hassles. Check with other dealers on here. Some of them will have this pistol available.
