Hi All,

I need something cleared up. In Alberta, the 318 and 320 WMUs show antlered white-tail as "N1-N30", and antlerless white-tail as "N1-N7".

Does this mean that the supplemental doe tags are only good for the first week in November (in these regions), or does it mean that no antlerless white-tails can be shot in these regions at all?

Reason being is that I have a general white-tail tag that I would like to use in either of these two regions. (on either a buck or doe)
 
If you look on page 25 of the guide, it shows you in subsection 2 on the bottom which WMU's the supplemental tags are valid in. They are not valid in 318 or 320. This means that You cannot shoot a doe now, as they were only legal to shoot from November 1-7 in WMU's 318 and320.(Page 48)

OK, understood on the supplemental doe tag.

But for my general white-tail, can I take a buck or doe (in these regions, after Nov 7th)?

You can take an antlered deer only. Does are between Nov1-Nov7 only, while bucks can be taken until Nov 30(page 48 of the guide). I understand your confusion, the guide can be very confusing. When in doubt, call Fish&Game, if you make any mistake and get caught they will nail you to the wall!!!!

Just to be sure I understand you right, I could shoot a doe in a neighboring WMU (e.g. 322), tomorrow, with my general white-tail tag?

I would call F&G, but I plan on heading out early tomorrow...

322 absolutely.Keep the regs on you or make yourself a little note with where it is legal and where it is not. Good luck with your hunt. I too am going out tomorrow, as well as Monday and Tuesday. I already got 1 doe this year, and have 2 more tags to fill (one supplemental doe tag and one general tag. I will be hunting in 246 tomorrow, and 337 Monday Tuesday.
