Great turn out, we had 15 new shooters brave the snow and wind today, a big thanks to all who attending you all did very well and I sure hope to see you at our weekly matches. Onagoth, great news on your end, numbers are just going up, way to go. Also thanks to the SO's who came out and gave their time and thanks to Kevin for manning the BBQ and making lunch

How is that going to affect your live fire portion of the course, or are they going to jump into the match?
 
The address on the website (3292 7th Concession) and the description of being between leskard and brown on the north side of 7th Concession are not matching up in my GPS. Could someone post a map to Orono? I have not been there before and actually tried to drive past it on my way back from the cottage yesterday and could not find it. I would hate to be late on Saturday!

Will instruction on how to properly and safely draw a handgun from a holster be included in this IDPA New Shooter Orientation?
 
Thanks for a great day Steve! You run a tight ship. Thanks to all the SO's who volunteered their time. There were a lot of new shooters and it moved quickly and always felt safe, and that is a credit to the great SOs. Those drills are a great introduction to using a holster. The only problem is I don't know how much fun shooting from the bench will be anymore! I will definately be out to shoot IDPA the first Saturday I can!
 
It certainly was a great day, even with the cold weather and all did excellent. Thanks to all who showed up, special thanks to the SO's, Chris, John, Melissa, Noel, Jerry and Kevin who ran the BBQ and prepared a great lunch.

Here are the only pics we got, also a video to come once I figure out how to post it.

LOL....Thought the pic was already taken when I pulled my jacket to show my .45.
 
And here I was yesterday, wishing I had put on warmer clothes for an indoor NSO course at East Elgin. Congrats all of you for putting on, or attending, the course at Orono yesterday.
