My only concern is that this is the new S-92 Maritime Helicopter....it seems to be made of unobtanium....I know John's offer is not the same, but it just seems....disconcerting...in a way!!!!!

blah blah blah more wining babies. Thanks for the christmas deal john. if i hadn't just bought a m93 and sold my sks and all my ammo becasue i didn't like the caliber i'd be all over it like fat kid on cake.

some people just like to #####.

I hope everyone understands that the only reason this "gift" is being "given" is in order to sell product that has not been selling... Supply and demand... if demand goes down then a company must decrease their profit margin in order to catch the demand back up with the supply. This can be done one of two ways: 1) by offering something free with a product, thus increasing the packages worth and creating demand or 2) by decreasing profit margin (ie dropping prices). Offering a "deal" creates more hype and gets more attention and is a more desirable means of attaining the goal - sales.

Like I said, its just a gimmick to clear out inventory that isn't selling, thus this deal is only available for specific models. Notice how the one's everyone wants aren't part of the deal?

Bottom line, those who are expecting something special, or that this deal is out of the goodness of Marstar's heart... it won't happen and it isn't. Its just utilizing standard business practices. Expect nothing, if it suits you, cool, if not, oh well, its only stuff.

Cheers.

A quick note of thanks to John at Marstar. It's been roughly twenty years since I was involved in retail sales. I had somehow forgotten how many customers are #####ing, whiny, bitter crybabies.

Thanks for the reminder.

Company's have to make a buck too ya know...

They put on a sale, like any other company does when they want to move product along with seeing Christmas as a good opportunity to do so.

Thanks for the cool offer Marstar!

Jesus, have you guys read the thread? With the amount of #####ing and crying in this thread, it's a small wonder that John hasn't just decided the hell with the whole lot....
