I built up a load for that rifle with 175 grain TSX's and Retumbo, it dumped a dall sheep at 454 yards this year. First shot double lung, following shots were running, second shot missed and the third was right through the boiler room.

Looking for a winter wolf load, I tried some 168gr Berger VLD over RL17. 55.5 grs

Pretty impressive speed for the amount of powder burned. Should shoot about 20" flatter out to 1000 than a 300 Win Mag/180gr too! With 20grs less powder. Love the 7saum!
