I'm looking to see what is the most effective flash hider for my fire breather, i'd like to cut down flash to nothing or very little, i have a AAC Blackout for my ar and love it but they don't make it for the vz., unfortunately due to no demand down here Neit abandoned the threaded extension :( so i must choose wisely since its semi permanent.

I got this 1 on my 858 and it all but eliminates the flash on my rifle;

Dlask Arms makes them for $40 CAD and would probaly sell them to you.

Our redesigned hybrid is quite good and has been tested against the vortex and an A2 flash hider on an AR and performed better against both, the cavity inside allows felt recoil to be noticably less. The bonus is that they are made in stainless steel so they will not rust.
MSRP is $40-45 depending on the dealer.

You posted a video of an AR (.556 and not 7.62x39) being shot with non corrosive new ammo. You should include something in a similar caliber.

I'd like to see a video of your brake as well. I'm not being a d!ck, I'm just genuinely interested. I'm sure you guys have one from all the testing?

Vortex leave's no flash trace at all.
That's almost impossible to do. There are a few forms of visible radiation associated with the phenomena of muzzle flash. Flash hiders/suppressors/etc, for the most part, just deal with a couple possible (and the most visible) sources.

The NEA Hybrid brake is trying to be a compromise between a Brake and a Flash hider. As with anything, you have to trade off the effectiveness of one vs. the other when you do that. There are certain aspects of muzzle brakes that tend to cause flash, and I'm very interested to hear or see how this design combats that. From the pictures I've seen, how they do this is not immediately apparent, but It would be quite an accomplishment. Especially in light of the fact that they say it works better than the Vortex, which is designed specifically to reduce muzzle flash.

It's a very interesting design to say the least.

Edit: Here's a vid about the vortex.

Sorry to offend you as this wasn't my goal but when someone states this;

I was quite shocked. As I was always brought up to belive in what I know is a fact not what I hear could be a fact.
So I think, in all fairness, we should get you guy's to rock out an night shoot and youtube it. Hell I'll even do it for ya ;)
Imagine Smith's face when a Canadian Made product out does his design.
BAMM!
Oh that would hurt.

I use one of these on my ar15, there is no flash visible at all. In my observation all the best flash hiders out there are a prong design, and the dlask followed that. Most others seen to be a compromise between the two, a comp and a hider. I'd give it a try if i didn't have to choose once due to it being permanently attached, so i went with a design I've seen in person. no other reason, i like seeing new products.

Is it just me, or do those flash hiders mess with accuracy? When you watch that Brownells video, the first shots without a flash hider seem to much more in control than the other two.

No they don't. The person in this video is showing what I like to call "shooter's flinch" meaning that the big flaming flash ball is making him flinch everytime he pulls the trigger waiting for the fire ball but since the other flash hidders remove most of the flash in his mind he is still waiting for the flame. Hence he jerks the trigger everytime before he shoots.

Which dealers in Canada are carrying this product?

It's just you. Satain was on the money. The flash hiders may have directed a little bit more muzzle blast towards the shooter causing the shooters to move around a bit.
