Picked up this nice little 1928 made M27 with Hackman & Co bayonet. Only 799 rifles were made in 1927, so 1928 is the earliest date you are likely to find
The bayonet is one of only 39,000 M27 bayonets manufactured, so also relatively rare. It has a later M35 pattern scabbard though.
EDIT: I just realized I'm wrong! This is not an M27 bayonet, but rather an even rarer M28 bayonet, though the scabbard is an Army M35 scabbard. The only difference between the M27 and M28 bayonets is the style of rivet and the markings.
