Looks like I'm first for December :)

Picked up this nice little 1928 made M27 with Hackman & Co bayonet. Only 799 rifles were made in 1927, so 1928 is the earliest date you are likely to find :)

The bayonet is one of only 39,000 M27 bayonets manufactured, so also relatively rare. It has a later M35 pattern scabbard though.
EDIT: I just realized I'm wrong! This is not an M27 bayonet, but rather an even rarer M28 bayonet, though the scabbard is an Army M35 scabbard. The only difference between the M27 and M28 bayonets is the style of rivet and the markings.

I finally found one, a detachable magazine for my Gewehr 98s. I bought this little gem from a collector in the U.S. and at an absolute bargin price compared to U.S. retailers and Canadian prices. Better yet, the magazine fits my Gewehr 98s and feeds properly too. I can't wait to give this puppy a try at the range, bring it on, Lee Enfields :D.

Nice.

I have been trying to get one of those for a while.

Much cooler than the MG13 magazine that has been converted to fit my G43... it has to be pinned to 5... :(

I managed to luck out again this month. After a year of searching, I found a Pattern 1871/84 bayonet for my Gewehr 71/84s and Gewehr 88s. Blade is dated 1888 and made by Alex Coppel at Solingen.

This one comes with scabbard and frog. The unit marking relates to what appears to be a machine gun company of the 153rd Reserve infantry regiment. The bayonet is from weapon # 70 and the scabbard is from weapon # 67.

The bayonet also fits my 71/84s and 88s but fits the two rifles pictured the best.
