What aftermarket magazines do you guys use or are you just using Norc mags when Marstar has them in stock?
I found some on Para's website that are 10 round and double stack, would these work? They are $49USD each, ouch.

I have not tried it yet: however, I hear that bersa mags fit.

Who is them? I found the following in an NP-28 review: "According to Alberto H. in Buenos Aires, who own a couple of NP28s, they were very popular and cheap in Argentina (USD 230). According to Alberto the Argentine Bersa Thunder pistol's magazine is interchangeable with the NP28's. That gun is for sale in the US, and magazines are about USD 20 each. One of the main advantages you have by using Bersa´s ones, is that they hold 17/18 rounds (in countrys that trust their citizens). Only a minimum adjustment in the hole where the magazine release fits is necessary. Bersa's owner is manufacturing some 170 mm long magazines for it - perfect for IPSC's Open Division. "

So what's the word on Mags?

Ever have any luck with getting magazines that'll fit the NP28?

I recently picked one up second hand with a bunch of Norc mags, but some of them have some issues with the feed lips and are probably the cause of a couple FTF issues with the gun.

If anyone has a line on good aftermarket mags that will fit the '28, I'd appreciate it.
 
ruger p89 mags work perfectly. just have to make a tiny slit in the mag where the mag release button is on the np28 and a small notch by the follower so the slide locks open when the mag is empty. i tried the a bersa one but it didnt work as well as the ruger mag.
 
Care to show some pics of the mags and the slits that need to be cut? I'm in need for mags for NP28 and would love to see this work!
