Well, Here in my region in BC the season just closed, and I manage to get my first two animals with my semi-sported No.4 LB.

So, If you hunt, lets see a pic of your Milsurp freezer filler.

i used my # 5 j/c on a mulie this year

and the season is not closed yet whitetail are still open till the 15th in region 3

both done but so far only the ,303 has done a deer, the swede has finished a couple as my guide gun.
There is no close season here per se, just different seasons for bucks and does but they overlap for different deer and we can shoot all year!

My '43 Longbranch has been my go-to deer rifle . This 2010 season marked my 39th year with it.
Made up sporter stocks ( save any more wear on the originals) and have been using them for 4yr now,
