Howdy all.Just wondering if anyone got their parts they ordered (any good?) and any updates on problems and availability of their items.Thanks

im also wondering the same thing , as i have a hankerin to get a gas cylinder from them so i can upgrade to that sadlak grooved piston fabsports has.

hopefully down the road maybe get a usgi receiver .

I have received dealer samples of several of thier parts and have been very pleased.
However I am not sure if they have applied for the export permits to begin selling retail to canada. I've been way to busy to follow up with them for the past month or so.
We should have some of thier parts at the december 11th m14 clinic to discuss and show around...... but none for sale as of yet..... though i am on thier dealer list. ;)

I would show you pic's of there bolt's but unless the owner who frequently uses this site give's me the okay I won't spoil his christmass present :p

Okay since you don't mind
Nork(LIGHT GREY) on bottom 7.62mm (DARK GREY) on top.

Note the roller is loose and wiggles. When I put it inside of M14 the headspace gauge reads 1.6355 dead on.

As for there extractor detent & spring combo (Shorter, Darker Color 1), once installed you know why the stock norks (Longer, Lighter Color 1) have ejecting issues with there's. See pic's bellow;

IMG00545.jpg

There ejector spring and detent there is no difference except the light color park on the nork(A Little Fatter) & the dark park on the 7.62mm(Thinner);

Now please do not go out and purchase the extractor as the 1 I received from them is not only has a smaller post but also is missing the top part of the round grabbing clip noted bellow;

If there is anything else you guy's might be interested in me posting pic's on post back and I'll try to fill ya in to the best of my ability.

On this Nork over 8 thou. The finish is a deep dark park. Although this was a test bolt and not all bolt's have yet to meet there specification's so there for it's not going to be released to the public no matter how much you bug Nathen.

Satain, are there any markings at all on the 7.62mm Firearms bolt? That's the first one I've seen.
Sorry Different there wasn't any that I could see. They have been having a real hard time making them and I don't really know why. Although these are not the first 1's I have seen. They did have an earlier batch that was recalled. I will try to find that website that had the pic's and reason's for ya.

Thanks, Satain. I found the 762mmfirearms.com web site. It has a photo of the bolt, no markings are visible. That does not make sense. I would have marked it in some manner, e.g., MEDINA OH.

mountainspruce you are absolutely right. I have heard every step of F'up's that they had from parking it so bad that it literally looked like 200 grain sand paper to an over side locking lug & with this 1 that wasn't supposed to be shipped to me that has improper bolt roller.
Different I am sorry I have been trying to find the info for ya but the thread that was up on another website is missing.

I'll be inspecting that bolt Satain has with my guages, might even look into getting it rockwell tested depending on how much that's gonna ding me.
the loose bolt roller is of some concern but i have seen that on many a chinese bolt and they aren't falling apart. perhaps a USGI roller and clip will tighten it up a wee bit. We'll see at the clinic this weekend and I'll post my thoughts.

Satain, I appreciate the effort to find the other posted information.

M14Doctor, it cost me $50.00 to have a Chinese M14 bolt cut up and checked for core and surface hardness at a metal heat treater here in Las Vegas. FWIW and YMMV
