I recently ordered a Safariland 6004-3930 for an HK that I have on order. I was curious to see if my 5" S&W M&P Pro with a X300 would fit in it, and voila! It does, and quite nicely.

The package describes the holster as:
6004-393-541. Heckler & Koch 4.53 in BBL: HK 45 Cocked and Locked w/Surefire X200/X300 BELT LOOP: HARNESS. Lined, STX TACTICAL, Foliage Green, Right.

in the market for one as well. have the same question where did you order it from if you don't mind:)

How is that X300? I'm thinking of getting one (or an X400 to get some street cred with the tacticool crowd).

I have an X300 and a Streamlight TLR-2. Both are excellent lights, but the X300 feels a bit more sturdy, especially around where the switches are. The downside to the surefire though is the price. I got the TLR-2 (light and laser, comparable to the x400) for about the same price as the X300. Also, the switch on the X300 is a bit stiff and is difficult to actuate with your trigger finger compared to the Streamlight.

Who would have thought that both of these pistols fit the in Safariland's ###X-3930 holsters both with and without the X300 attached? I would have thought they were different enough to warrant two holsters.

This P30L is actually a V1 LEM with a safety, and not a DA/SA. I believe this holster was designed for a DA/SA, running cocked and locked. Therefore, there's a bit of space between the rear of the gun and the holster hood. The long slide M&P actually has a tighter fit because of its beaver tail.

I'm curious to know, will a Safariland pistol&light holster still retain pistol with the light removed?

If you are having a problem with the fiber optics falling out just put a slight dab of clear nail polish on it and it will hold.

The M&P Pro is secure even without the X300 attached. The P30LS fits more loosely, but will remain in the holster with the SLS hood locked.

Is the 3930 specific for the HK45 or will it fit the USP as well?
I have been search for a holster that will accommodate the USP w/ x300 for a while.

I don't own a USP so I don't know if it will fit a USP. Safariland makes a holster specifically for the USP with a X300 so you're better off ordering that holster.
