Mossberg Tactical .22

Crap, I have a very poor scanned pic of the mag but it is a TIF file and photobucket doesn't recognize that type of file. If I do a "save as" and change it to a JPEG or other file type it changes it to below. What do I do?????? My contact says there are 350 on order for his customers.

Oh man that looks good. I really hope its coming!!! I'll most definatly be getting a few if and when they come out.

I actually just went to the Mossberg website and went to the contact us section and sent them that email. Either way, I can't wait!

Well now,

Geez, If Mossberg can come up with a proper looking high cap mag for it's Tac .22 why can't someone come up with one for a Ruger?

Honestly I'm surprised no one else make them, on all these platforms you can have a pretty sweet looking rifle... but they all have the funny looking mags... can't wait for these to come out, have I mentioned that yet?

For what stock? There are so many different Ruger stocks out there any design would only fit one or two at the most. Just take a 25 rounder and make a plastic or foam cover for it to match your gun, I wouldn't think it would be that hard to do.

Reminds me of the mags for the Squires M1600 series. Hopefully these come out soon!! Thanks for the photo.

For all you other .22 Tac owner out there did any of you have the plastic stop(on the inside of the stock) crushed at the back/handle allen bolt (to the receiver) bcs the dumbasses at the assembly line tightened them past the limit ? I'm debating whether I should call Mossberg and complain about it, and see what they can do for me.

They already have the 25 round mag out in some American states already. Here's a quality picture:

Why wouldn't you? A nice email with pictures might get you somewhere for sure. I certainly would.

Saw one of the Mossy's in P&D today.

Wasn't impressed with it overall. A 10/22 and an Archangel kit seemed a lot more solidly put together (was looking at a buds new Archangel Kit yesterday) and definitely felt more solid in hand, if a direct comparison of 'plastic' to 'plastic' is to be made.

Yep. More money for a 10/22 and the kit, but I think a better buy. More options for switching directions too, just dressing up the 10/22 :)

My best advice. Get hands on one, don't buy mail-order until you have had a chance to hold a couple different tac type rimfires, preferably side by each. Maybe the Mossberg will be the one for the price, or maybe the price of an SR will not look so bad in comparison.

Cheers
