I should (finally)have my PAL within a few weeks now. I have mailed the magic envelope to Miramichi.
I've been in the process of obtaining my PAL since late Sept-early October, including the course!
The longer they take, the longer my shopping list gets. I may get a modern rifle or two, but am really interested in military surplus, and the old,obsolete and weird.
