6.5x55 Swedish

In a modern rifle is the 6.5X55 a short action like the 260? About 4mm longer I believe.

My Hornady manual gives a maximum OAL of 3.150" for the Swede and 2.800" for the 260, so it is 0.350" or 8.9mm longer.

If I had to have just one cartridge I would be more then happy with just 6.5x55 Swede.

I've had a M96 and now I have a Husky 1640.

I like the action on the Husky better.
