Peep sight on a new marlin 1894

I have a new marlin 1894 that I would like to put a peep sight on. I talked to a fellow at western gun parts and he told me that they changed the pattern on the receiver and the peep sights that are available on the market will not fit. Does anyone know if there is anything available, or how can I check if I have an older model before the pattern was changed?

I just bought one for my 1895GG and it is great, no problem shipping to Canada.

I don't know about the bolt pattern issue but I am sure the folks at skinner would know.

The newer Marlins don't have the side holes for sight mounting. They have holes on top of the receiver only.
There are many sights for Marlins that fit the top holes or the side holes...Williams makes thiers both ways...I have one here.
There are sights availble from XS also, which is what I have on my Marlin '94.
