Anyone else looking forward to these? Looks like they are going to be available in .222, ,.223, .260, 6.5x55 and .308 with either a 20" or 24" barrel.

I was looking at getting one awhile back..but forgot actually..left a message..probably can't?? the Swede would be mine.

It is a simple Tikka T-3V with a stock that is designed for ISSF shooting, a sport very popular in Europe, and done with open sights. It is not a good stock design for using with a rest or a rear bag. Not sure what the big deal is. You can get a T3 without the highly specialized (and likely useless for supported shooting) stock for much less I'm sure.

Depends what you want to use it for. Your system there is completely unsuitable for most scoped-rifle competitive shooting, but its whatever floats your boat.

I care more about the workings of a rifle, and one can never go wrong with a Tikka.

I find this post a little funny. I had to look at the time and date of it. About an hour after it was posted I had gone onto the Tikka website and found that rifle. Had no idea it existed until then. Didnt see this post until now. If I can get my hands on that rifle next year I will buy one to try out.

This was posted here before I think..I remember something about the language..maybe not..but I have seen it somewhere before.
