So who ordered a 12.5" grizzly?

wouldnt it be easier to just use the built in sling mounts? never have to worry about issues getting it outta the scabbard in an emergency, and more options for strapping it to your body since you dont need to accomidate the scabbard.

true, but this will be to protect it while it is strapped down to my rock crawler driving through the bush. If I was just walking around I would just use a sling.

Im thinking about making my own scabbard in order to accomodate a pistol grip and telescoping M4 butt. Get in touch with ym arts and crafts side...

How much was the scabbard? I think I saw them for pretty cheap, like $20. Is that the case?

ya, it was around $30 it should work fine with a m4 stock

I bought the 12.5 mag fed with an additional mag.

I haven't tried it yet but overall I am impressed. It is a lot heavier than I expected.

The original mag had some rust along the seam.

I'll have to give Paul a call when things slow down.

Mine, Tapco M4 stock, tri railed fore end, Tapco stubby grip, single point sling mount, micro holo sight. A lot lighter now & looks great!
these are awesome shotguns.

I think if I wanted a rail I would re drill and tap to something standard like 8-32.

The 6-48 pitch is not standard in the commercial world but the first, semi-local gun shop I called had some 1/4" length in stock, but Im waiting for some 0.340" to come in. Id rather have them too long than too short.

Good to hear you found some. With all my projects I refuse to use the so called "Gunsmith" thread sizes like 8-40 and 8-48. When standard sizes are available just about anywhere.

you can always get a tap, and thread it to whatever you want.... thats what I've done in the past with several non-gun related projects

Just got my 12.5" tube-fed Grizzly in the mail. It's a nice little gun. Nicer than I expected. The action feels a bit rough but I'm sure it will improve when broken in.

I bought if for a buddy who's waiting for his PAL to arrive. I'm not sure I want to give it to him!

Thanks, Canada Ammo!

Very cool, Id like to put the exact same magpul MOE stuff on except OD green and bassed off of a Mesa LEO adaptor.

Im also thinking about adding a railed forend and a magpul AFG.

WHere'd you buy allt he accessories?

Still waiting for my 12.5 barrel ... but couldn't wait to post a pic. Here she is...Wingmaster with a 20"remchoke rifle sight barrel, speedfeed youth stock, gg&g sling adapter, and last but not least... mcs forend:cool:

12.5 Mag Fed

Anyone else have a problem changing the fore end? I'm trying to put on a Hogue but finding the fore end tube too large for the Hogue 870. Any ideas or alternatives?

clean up the inside of the fore grip, the grizz mag tubes are slightly larger.

Like wood on my guns and the ability for them to multi task. Can swap the stocks back to the synthetic in minutes and strap it on the quad and head for the woods or throw on a 26" or 28" Rem choked Express barrel and other games to play be it bunnies, birds or informal clays.

Thanks CanAm - great product for the price.

12'5 Grizzly with wood furniture

Me too, I prefer wood, it has more personality,
as well as a longer fore-arm, the 4 round side saddle
is enough for me... ;)
