ive had the FAB on an older 12.5 and it was pretty comfortable, i would recommend it

Didn't have any issue.
Ordered the forend and a set of M14 castle nut pliers on line from Brownells back in March and they mailed them to me straight away

Thanks for the offer, but I really need to wait until January before blowing more $$ on firearms...

Plus the whole point to a railed forend is for a magpul AFG, which I've heard bad things about on a pump shotgun. Probably not enough to stop me from trying though!

Agreed! i use Promag fore ends sometimes when $ are an issue.

The rail was an added bonus that CanAm didn't know about apparently. They threw it in as a freebee for all the ghost sights, both tube fed and box mag fed I believe. The box mags came with 6-48 screws, the tube fed ones are missing them.

What's the front sight?

Front sight is an XS Big Dot tritium bead epoxied over the existing bead. It's super visible and I love it! I've never shot bead sights so it'll be a good challenge getting used to it.

Hogue short stock and forend set were ordered through my local shop Reliable here in Vancouver. Took a day to get in.

Why the short stock, For the look, or because youre shorter?

Short stocks are good for, smaller people, shorter overall length, and when wearing thick winter clothes. They are also fine for bigger shooters if you change your stance to a more forward facing position.
