I just received my new Grizzly 12.5 yesterday. Can anyone point me towards a post with correct disassembly? If there isn't one, maybe someone could post some step by step instructions. Also, I want to give it a thorough cleaning once it's apart. What should I use for cleaning? Any other relevant instructions would be greatly appreciated!

I used only (very) hot water for cleaning mine.

ditto, Can we get a sticky on this topic... GRIZZLY diassembly and assembly ?

Taking apart an 870.

1) Unscrew mag cap
2) pull handle back half way
3) Remove barrel
4) Hold down tab and pull bolt assembly out along with handle
5) Punch out trigger group retaining pin
6) Remove trigger group
7) Remove recoil pad and stock
8) remove mag spring and follower.

Reverse for assemble except you have to push 2 tabs to reassemble the bolt.

Got it, thanks. Plus so much more I found today thru Google for the
Rem 870.

+1. Be carful not to burn your hands on the hot metal though. Make sure you strip the whole thing before cleaning too. I even look the stock off mine and found a whole bunch of grease hiding back there.
