Whats the best 9mm 1911 single stack mags to get?

OK i am getting my STI Spartan 9mm. and need MORE MAGS, I know stock flush is 9rounds, but i don't mind a 10 round with it sticking out is the part sticking out is a bumper.

Please anyone who has 9mm sti, can you recommend a good mag brand to get? I hear STI can be picky :)

I believe the Metalform mags as supplied to Springfield Armoury are worth looking at. Older style 9mm mags use a block at the rear to space the shorter cartridge. The new Metalform mags use a spacer at the front and a built in ramp to improve feeding.
 
Have a look at Tripp Research. I have used their 10 round Cobra mags in several different 9mm 1911's without fail. They are excellent quality and they ship to Canada.

x2 for tripp research........they work better in my 9mm trojan than the factory mag does. Plus they ship quickly and hold 10 rds!!!
 
X 3 for Tripp Research. I use the ten round mags in my Para and they work flawless.
Bought a hand full of 8 rnd .45 for my Colt as well.
 
X4 for cobra Tripp mags.
Best 1911 mags bar none.Very friendly to deal with and no problem shipping to Canada.Last time I ordered,Virgil Tripp personally took my order and had the time for a quick chat!

Yep, had nothing but success with 10-round 9mm Tripp mags in my STI Ranger II. They are the way to go for sure.
 
metalforms 10 rounders single stacks for 1911 9mm can be had at brownels for 25 each. not bad.
