CZ Skorion info

For the money you are likely going to shell out just move on. They are very overpriced. Just my opinion, though I normally like guns like the Skorpion. Buy a TP9, BRS-99 or a BXP. They are all much better buys while keeping with the same general group of firearms.

if it's anywhere around a grand it's a steal as the .380acp version is no longer made

John from Wolverine stated that once the supply of .380 mags dried up the cost of the Skorpion skyrocketed. Too expensive to retool I guess.

Not really. I've seen a few go for close to $1500 in the EE.

You'd be lucky to find one for $1500 nowadays. If you found one for less buy it and flip it. Then buy something better... They are climbing in value and are not likely to be imported for less than $2500-3000+ (Evo III).

From Mr. Hipwell himself...

"Wolverine was instrumental in getting CZ to manufacture a semi auto only Scorpion in .380 ACP (9 mm snort) for the Canadian market they had a retail of about $1,500.00, this was approx 6 years ago, the model was the CZ 91S. The last shipment sold very slow and as CZ had run out of .380 mags we stopped bringing them in. It would be very expensive to get a run of the .380 mags produced, no shortage of .32 mags but they are completely different. They are a fun gun but unfortunately the low demand simply will not justify another production run."

Well lets just say it is very very well priced from what you guys are saying then. I think I am going to have to free some money up. If I don't like it then I will just flip it.

That's all that matters in the end. You can aways make your money back and then some if you don't like it. I know you said that but hey, it's true!

I originally purchased one when they rfirst brought in about 8-9 years ago. Cost me $1200. I sold it last year with two short mags and two long 5/30 mags all in 380 for double what I paid. Looking back I should have kept it but it but I got myself something I can actually use.

I love mine. Very accurate and 100% reliable. It does like lots of oil so I run it fairly wet. Only problem is when its at the range everybody else wants to try it, If they are going for $2000 I may not love it much longer:D
