Hi!
I just found this site because I really like guns!
I am 19 years old and am thinking about getting my license and purchasing my first gun. I look forward to reading more!

Welcome aboard, it’s a great forum with lots of info. I would suggest going to the Newbie FAQ forum, it’s a good read and will bring you up to speed on some questions you might have.

Silvercore do a good job of the PAL courses. I took my restricted class from them a few years ago, and was impressed. Enjoy the class, it's a good chance to handle alot of different actions that you don't normally run into (or at least I don't), like single action revolvers, etc.

Thanks for the welcoming! I will phone about getting my R-PAL next week. As for my background, I have done quite a bit of .22lr shooting with cadets, just haven't had much of an opportunity to shoot center fire recently. I don't have a reason at the moment to own a gun, but I will I think.

Take your time and find out suits you and your lifestyle. The forum will be of great help.

Welcome to CGN.

You are in a good area as Kamloops has a good bunch of shooters.

KTSA is currently expanding their range behind the scales.

Check them out.

Have fun and be safe :)

Unfortunately, no, they're not.
Still worth checking out, though.

HI Keith and welcome from another Kamloopsian... I took my pal nr and r thru pal-core-ed and the instructor was George McKnight. The classroom is above The Powder Keg on Tranquille road.... Still waiting for my phone interview from RCMP, but fingers crossed that my licence will be here end of this month or middle of Dec...
