I use it its awsome cant get any better, you can buy it direct from Atlas.
I had the rail bedded on to my rifles so now I just attach the Atlas bipod that comes with the clamp, a little more money but I can take it on and off in a sec, very verastile system and extremly solid. You will be very happy with it!

It is alot better then the V7. That is saying alot since the V7 is fricken awesome. I bought mine directly from Kasey at Accushot. Be prepared for a wait. You might get lucky and find someone that has them in stock, but my last one took three months. Military and law inforcement have priority.

so the $100 or less doesn't apply to bipods?

They aren't technically firearm parts, I don't believe. Even then, if the company has the export permit, and you have an importer, the c bill rule doesn't apply.

What makes it superior to the V-7??? I checked the website but couldn't find a direct comparison.

The locking mechanism. On the v7 you pull down the legs to move them then find the notch. On the v8's it has one more position and you push in a button and move the leg to one of the positions.

Much better set up then Harris.Easer to load.Very solid set up.

WOW..... it is a lot more expensive than the Harris. But I guess it is much better from what I read.
