Hey guys

I have an 1873 French service revolver and need to get a hand spring for it. Have posted up on the EE but wondering if anyone can recommend a good Edmonton area gunsmith who works on old stuff.

show some pics of the broken one. someone will tell you how to make one.no gunsmith needed for that job .

Its a small flat spring crimped into a groove in the hand, not a complicated job.

I wonder if he'd be willing to make a new hand for my forehand and wadsworth, it times slightly slow.

I don't have a shop anymore otherwise I'd make my own.

Thanks guys. Took it to Rod here in Edmonton and he sorted me out. I had used a small piece of spring steel but he did a much more professional job and gave the gun a good once over.
