Shot by my cousin. Came from basically a NON hunting family and has the luck getting BIG animals. Has a buck that scores in the 170's typical now this brute.......

Not sure exactly where. He just mentioned Swan River area. He has a Browning A-Bolt 270. Factory Win ammo 150 grain accubonds. Shot it at about 150 yards. Said it went maybe 15 yards. Both lungs.

I filled my cow tag on Saturday, so I was happy to get a younger one. 290lbs dressed

300 win mag from under 200 yards. Double lung, she went down got up and walked about 15 yards before expiring

With a rack like that I would have guessed it was a Roosevelt elk! Your buddy seems to have figured out the most important skill a hunter can have- luck. Congratulations to him. :D

I can tell that is what it is.

I have a hard time believing it is as big as it is. If he was not family I would have a hard time believing it. When he gets it back from the taxidermy which will be months I will post pics of it mounted. From what I have heard from people who have seen pics they figure well in the 400's.
