Ok so here's the story, my grandfather is dying from cancer and it has spread threw his entire body. He told me when he was a kid he always wanted a luger, and it was his favorite pistol. So basically what I want is to know if anyone on Vancouver Island or close to it has a restricted Luger that we could rent just to take him to the range for a day. If you could consider this please PM me with a price you would rent it for.
 
If you're near Victoria, stop by Pullen's in Langford/Highlands. He always has one or two in his case, and I'm sure that he knows plenty of people who have one.
 
I would suggest Pullens too - I know there's a VFG and SIAS member who occaissionally brings a Luger to practices - I ran into him a year or so ago, his was a prohib - and he shoots it regularly.I hope NAA drops by, I'm pretty sure he knows every collector/shooter on the Island.
 
What you're doing is very cool, I hope someone steps to the plate for you.

The fact that your trying to do this for him and the fact that you even remembered that conversation with him i guarantee means more to him than shooting the Luger or trying to get him to shoot the Luger ever will or could....

Rent? No. I wish I had a Luger, I would lend it, or for a guy without the proper license, take him to the range. He wouldn't have to be dying of cancer, either.
