Glock sucks!

My Glocks are one hundred percent reliable. I can't spell it out any clearer than that. I always chuckle at old jokes though.

I was trying to study in the library, decided to take a little brake on cgn and saw this post.
You good sir have envoked the wrath of me and my glock.
What i feel is necessary is a shoot out at 30 paces lol.
I will bet you my glock will be more or the same level of reliable than any metal frame gun of your choosing.
It is really not about the brand, it is about maintenance and how you treat and handle your gun.
You can have a $3000 custom 1911 and it will crap out on you if you don't clean it and maintain it well.
But a $500 ruger s49 or a $300 Norc will run without fail and hiccup if you care and maintain it.
To many times i see people buy expensive guns and expect it to run flawlessly without maintaining it because of the money they spent for it.
Now back to my studies.

meh shot allot of rounds outta glocks, and if i had to choose a gun for ccw it would probably be a glock. For target and competitive shooting ill stick with my CZ

1911 owner's are alot like middle aged ,over incomed guys. They pay lots of money for things of the showroom floor and got to bling it up(mods to make it feed and shoot as well as stock glock) with lots more money. So after 2 thounsand or so has been sunk, they stand next to a glock owner on their home range and come to realize that, money poorly spent does not substitute for marksmanship or sound mechanical design from the factory. The outta box Glock(rhymes),sent the 1911 home with their tail between their hammer spur and the beavertail. Glock's are duty guns. In the right hands they do everything thats asked of them. I kinda like service weapons ,keeping them stock like the man in uniform had to fire and defend himself with(1911A1 Iwo Jima,1945). 1911's are great and IMO the first great autoloading pistol the world saw. After all the ranting and i know the your blood pressure is up, my next auto will be a Springfield Armouries GI .45, cause i love the look of a stock GI .45. However my Glock 22 is still #1.
We all know Bruce aka Die Hard's "John McClane" is not exactly Hollywood's expert on Glocks.
I think us Glock "fanboys" cringe every time that movie gets played.
Right up there with the likes of:
- Wilhem DaFoe shooting an Oly Arms pistol AR.
- Matt Damon wielding a SigPro
- David Caruso pointing his service pistol EVERYWHERE.
- Aahh-nold Schwarzenegger holding anything.
Then there's Jolie.... don't get me started on Jolie....
You forgot the Lethal Weapon super expensive Glock that can go an airport metal detector without setting off the alarm. And the super 9mms they used that could shoot through the blade of a dozer.
