I have three model 12 shotguns. These are just shotguns no fancy stuff.
30" full choke
28" full choke
30" modified choke.
What would be approximate value? Thanks in advance

$200-$400 shipped depending on condition.

That's a pretty high appraisal if you are going by the OP's description.

The original post was.

With that lack of info you would offer 200-$400? You don't even know if the guns have wood. Or anything else about their condition.

If people want to put values on their guns they should at least provide accurate descriptions and quality photo's.

I agree, without pictures it's hard no stupid to make an offer... I'm not making an offer....

$200-$400 is more of a range then an offer.

$200 would be at the lower end and $400 would be pretty nice.

The 28'' mod BBl most valuable even if condition is cosmetically 60-70% $225 -$275 a bit more if condition is better. 28'' full choke 60-70% $200-$250 30''full choke $200.

this is not your thread if you want to talk about how big yours is start your own thread, and don't highjack someone else's

How big my WHAT is . Just asking what gauge to make sure he is getting the right info. That link will help him anyway so he is not misinformed.
Is that highjacking or helping HUMMMMMMMM

M12 values

Something is worth what someone will pay for it.

I've got three M12 12 ga. shotguns - 30" FC, two 28" MC. One of these has pretty wood. Wish one was IC.
None would go on the block for less than $400. They are what they are -
M12s, not Remingtons, Norincos or some other knock off.

Oddly, my Japanese Browning M12 20 ga. would command a much higher price.

The point is he wanted the world to know he owns a 28ga model 12 not what the value of the guns in question was and for his information his value of the 28ga is out to lunch one just sold on gunbroker for $3k. and another for $3,600.00 . It was a simple evaluation on 3 basic model 12's and then it gets turned into oh look what I have .

Dude all threads in gun forums eventually turns into look what I have. It's a progression of things, like puberty for threads on guns.

That was not my intention but here you go again. I was just trying to show the poster the possible range for not fancy model 12's depending on gauge etc. Since you mentioned it have you ever bought a gun off gunbroker?? and had it shipped to canada..If so what percentage extra did it cost you in addition to winning the auction, but I am out to lunch based on your evaluation.
No my friend my vintage guns what ever I have were professionally evaluated and are insured as such. House burns today my grandfathers 28ga is 5000 period regardless what comments you make. It is unfortunate a standardized evaluation system for guns is not available in canada. The book values are usually very low so we go by what we can get for it normally.
